The Vaetra Chronicles
The Vaetra Chronicles is set in Mundia, a world with sorcerers who can use the power of vaetra to perform magic. It is also home to the mundane; the common people who cannot use sorcery and who outnumber sorcerers nearly ten to one. Sorcerers have been outcast for more than 300 years after abusing their powers during the infamous Wizard Wars, but the mundane continue to keep a watchful and wary eye upon them.
The suspicions of the mundane are well-founded. Not all sorcerers are content to remain in obscurity and forsake the power and riches that accompany control of the land.
