Press Release: IdeaWeaver Helps Writer's Meet DeadlinesHow Writers Can Meet "Impossible" End-of-Year DeadlinesTwo Step Process to Get Writing Projects DoneSANDPOINT, Idaho -- The end of the year is approaching and many employees find themselves facing unreasonable or"impossible" writing deadlines. Book author and publishing expert Susan Daffron of Logical Expressions, Inc. offers a simple two step process to help writers meet end-of-year deadlines based on her report"Get Unstuck! 15 Ways to Jumpstart Your Creativity, Get Organized, and Finish Your Writing Project," which visitors receive when they download her company's IdeaWeaver writing and creativity software (http://www.IdeaWeaverSoftware.com). Daffron says that to get the project done, writers must: 1. Figure out exactly how much time there is before the deadline. 2. Brainstorm ideas for half the time, and use the other half of the time for writing and revising. For example, suppose a writer has to write a report for a meeting at 3:30 pm. It is now 1 pm. The deadline is two and one half hours away, but printing and formatting eats up about a half hour, so the real "drop-dead" time is two hours from now. The writer now needs to lock himself in a room someplace where he absolutely won't be interrupted. From 1 pm to 2 pm, he jots down anything that comes to mind. All ideas are fair game. At promptly 2 pm, the writer starts reorganizing, rewriting, and revising until the 3 pm deadline. The last half hour is spent formatting and printing. Unless the writer is interrupted or finds some way to goof off, he should have a report by the 3:30 deadline. It may not be great, but it will be done. Daffron points out that in today's hyper-connected workplace, sometimes the only way to get productive work done is to get away from all email, cell phones, text messaging, and other distractions. It may sound simple, but it works. Writers who need brainstorming or organizational support can try out Logical Expressions' "IdeaWeaver" software. It is free to try for 30 days, and a license costs $49.95. The free trial download of the software is available at: www.IdeaWeaverSoftware.com. The site features a free "getting started" video, case studies, and a free e-course called "Get Unstuck! 15 Ways to Jumpstart Your Creativity, Get Organized, and Finish Your Writing Project."
