November 1999 - Computor Companion Magazine Expands Distribution to Spokane Area

Computor Companion, a free magazine targeted toward computer users, is now being distributed in the Spokane area. Formerly distributed only in North Idaho, the magazine is now also available at selected locations throughout the Inland Northwest. Susan Daffron, the editor of the magazine says, "we had so many people in the Spokane area asking us to bring the magazine here, we decided to expand our distribution." Since launching the magazine last Fall, the number of copies being printed has doubled and the number of distribution points and advertisers has increased as well.

Published by Logical Expressions, Inc., Computor Companion is printed every other month at the beginning of the month. The web site www.logicalexpressions.com is also updated regularly with articles from every issue. Computor Companion is available free of charge to readers in North Idaho and Spokane. It can be found at computer stores and related businesses in North Idaho and the Spokane area. It is also available on the "free" racks at most grocery stores in North Idaho. The magazine is edited to instruct, inform, and entertain beginning to intermediate computer users with useful techniques they can use to perform their day-to-day computing tasks.

Although the publication is rather new, the editor points out, "A lot of people miss the old ComputorLink magazine that died early this year. Although we aren't connected with the people who produced that magazine, we feel that Computor Companion can fill the need for useful, local computer information. Many people have given us a lot of positive feedback on the magazine, so I think we're headed in the right direction."
