How We Work

Communication is the Key to Happy Clients

Since 1995, Logical Expressions, Inc. has worked via online communication. Even though we are based in Idaho, our clients have learned they can depend on us to be their virtual (yet logical) staff.

These long-distance arrangements have worked well because over the years of working with a lot of clients, we've come up with a number of ways to keep the lines of communication open. These techniques have worked well with clients who are 20 or 2,000 miles away. We believe that is why we are still working with many of the same clients we were when we started in 1995.

It's really pretty simple: we do what we say we're going to do when we say we're going to do it.

Here are a few things you can expect when you work with Logical Expressions:

  • No Surprises. We don't base any design decisions on any assumptions that haven't been verified by YOU. (Perhaps you've noticed, as we have, that in the absence of information, some people tend to make stuff up.)
  • Accurate Estimates. You've got a budget and we've understand that. Some jobs are simple and some are complex. If your project is well defined, we can quote some services by the project.
  • Return Calls/E-mail. You'll never be left wondering if we've fallen off the face of the earth because unlike a lot of businesses, we return our phone calls and e-mail. In fact, most messages are returned within hours. Barring natural disasters or global crises, LEI has a 24 hour turnaround on most e-mail questions and phone messages. If you have a job, you simply e-mail the work to us with instructions. If we have questions, we'll call for clarification. Once we have the requirements, we do the job and meet the deadline.
  • Client Education. You may want to know more about how we do what we do. Or not. It's up to you. For those who want to learn more, we offer many free resources. We have written online training courses and taught classes on computing topics. But we still understand that a lot of people don't need any more "geek speak" in their lives and do our best to keep jargon to a minimum. If you are looking for a writer, you can easily check out our books or a few of our hundreds of free online articles to find out what our writing style is like. If you are just getting started in the world of print and online publishing and information products, you may want to subscribe to our free Publishize ezine or podcast.
  • Written specifications. In English, not technospeak. If you don't understand a part of the process, we explain it to you. When it comes to design, you see as many proof copies as you need to feel satisfied. In other words, you save money by avoiding mistakes.

For the process to work well, all we ask is that our clients use e-mail and check it reasonably frequently. Clients who understand how to work with files and have at least minimal computer skills tend to appreciate our work the most.

If you have a project you'd like to discuss, please give us a call at 888-877-8391 or contact us using our contact form.

We hate spam as much as you do and we value your privacy! Please read our Privacy Policy for more information.
