Transform Your Words into Dollars
From Motivation to Manuscript:
Finish Your Book With Our Simple 90-Day Blueprint
Are you ready to make a commitment to really finish your book? Whether you're a coach, consultant or entrepreneur, you undoubtedly have read the advice that writing a book establishes you as an expert and gives you tremendous credibility, so clients start coming to you.
As a service provider, you also may have been attracted to the idea of earning passive income. Earning money while you sleep is a big motivator, after all! So you got all fired up and declared, "I'm going to write a book!"
If you dream of writing a high-quality book that expresses who you are or explains unique techniques you've developed, you've probably discovered it's a lot of work. It's not something you're just going to whip out in a couple of days.
For most of us, writing takes time and effort to produce a good book that you're proud to hand to clients and prospective clients. On a large book project, it can be easy to lose focus in many places along the way.
Get Unshelved: Finish That Book You "Shelved"
Almost everyone seems to have a book idea or part of a book that has been "shelved." Hard drives and file cabinets are full of these wanna-be books and outlines of great book ideas that simply didn't happen. Maybe you got stuck.
Do you have an idea for a book that you haven't even tried to write? You could be sitting on a marketable idea. It might be a book that you'd even buy yourself if only you could find it. But maybe you haven't tried to write that because you feel afraid of the process and you feel like you don't know how.
Does this sound like you?
- "I'm afraid I'll never finish my book because I'm a terrible procrastinator!"
- "I'll never have the time to write my book."
- "I don't even know where to start. Is there a formula for writing a book?"
- "I don't know anything about self-publishing. What do I do when I finish my book?"
- "Everyone tells me that my book idea is SO great. But I never get around to writing it."
You don't need to flounder around and make expensive mistakes. With our Motivation to Manuscript Book Blueprint Program, you can finish your book and avoid a lot of the anxiety a lot of authors experience.
Many "write-a-book" programs are created by people who haven't actually written and published a real book. Look on Amazon and see if the books are there. Sometimes you find that the person wrote a 48-page ebook that's mostly white space. Our books aren't cheesy little fluff pieces or rehashed public domain information. The shortest one is around 125 pages full of technical tips. The longest one is 280 pages. If you look on Amazon.com, you'll find them all there (see Susan Daffron's Amazon author page).
Turn Your Dream Into a Reality
As book authors and publishers ourselves, we know how you feel. Our names are Susan Daffron and James Byrd. We own Logical Expressions, Inc. Three years ago, we were "slaves to the hourly wage" just like you, selling our consulting services. Then we decided to package all of our information into books. But as you've probably noticed, writing a book isn't quite as easy as whipping out a memo. Finishing a book takes work. You have to dedicate time and make a commitment to the project.
We know exactly what it's like to go through the writing and publishing process because we've done it 10 times. For us, after publishing 10 books everything has changed. Publishing our books has given us more marketing opportunities and credibility than we've ever had before in all our years in business.
Since January of 2006, we have published 10 books:
- In mid-2006, we released Vegan Success: Scrumptious, Healthy Vegan Recipes for Busy People, then later in the year Web Business Success: The Entrepreneur's Guide to Web Sites That Work, and Happy Hound: Develop a Great Relationship with Your Adopted Dog or Puppy.
- In mid-2007, we released Happy Tabby: Develop a Great Relationship with Your Cat or Kitten and late in the year, we published the FOUR Logical Tips books
- In 2008, we released Publishize How to Quickly and Affordably Self-Publish a Book That Promotes Your Expertise, which received endorsements from publishing industry experts and went on to win two book awards for design and content.
- In 2009, we released Funds to the Rescue: 101 Fundraising Ideas for Humane and Pet Rescue Groups, which was endorsed by experts in the humane, non-profit, and fundraising communities.
After 10 books, we've learned that what everyone says is really true: members of the media quote book authors constantly. We've been quoted in mainstream media more the last three years than in our previous 12 years in business. After all, if you've written a book on a topic, you know more than 98% of the world on the subject. Our books have led to speaking engagements and partnership opportunities as well.
Susan and James are a power team who instantly recognize the issues and provide specific guidance on how to fix whatever is ailing your book. I plan to use everything I learned to write a well planned and thought out book and then self-publish it. Having the support and guidance of successful authors who understand exactly what I'm going through is an extraordinary gift. James and Susan made the entire process fun, informative and productive.

Writing Is Easier When You Have Support
Often you know what you need to do, but you need a little help to make it happen. For example, every year more weight loss books come out. They all pretty much come down to the same thing.
If you know you want to lose weight, you know intuitively what you need to do. You might decide to set a reasonable, healthy, and achievable weight loss goal, but it's a lot easier and more fun if you have accountability and support from experts and other people to help you meet your goals.
Writing isn't really all that different.
You know what you need to do, but it's a lot easier if you get a little help and support from people who have "been there and done that."
I enjoyed playfulness that you (Susan) bring to things. There's a lightheartedness, yet there's so much substance that you share. And James you complement Susan so well with your logic and practical comments. I thoroughly enjoy the way you and James complete each other. Your contributions appeal to a broad range of personalities and creativity processes.

Unlike most "shelf-ware" the Motivation to Manuscript Book Blueprint Program offers both the convenience of a home-study program, yet also includes interactive support. You can work at your own pace, but receive feedback in our private discussion area. If you are committed to finishing your book within a certain time frame, you can post your goals and get accountability and help from us as you move through the lessons.
Because you work at your own pace, you set your own goals and milestones. We designed the program to be completed in 90 days, but you can take as long as you want to work through the lessons. If you have the time and energy, you can pick up the pace and get your manuscript done in less than 90 days. If you need more time, you can opt for a less aggressive timeline. With this program, you can adjust your goals according to your schedule and what's going on in your life right now.

With the Motivation to Manuscript Book Blueprint Program, we've tried to give you everything you could possibly need to get your book done. We share with you the same techniques and tips we have used to write (and publish) 10 books in less than 3 years.

8. Including storytelling in your writing. Take advantage of a few techniques from fiction writing to can make your book more interesting and vivid for your readers.
9. Associating and organizing your ideas. Use the concept of "chunking" to get past that overwhelming stage where you wonder how everything will "fit" together into a book.

If you make the commitment to put in writing time every week, you'll be rewarded with a book.
I have recommended your course and your Web site to at least three people because I was so stuck. I was stuck by my own thinking. Even though I could only attend a few of the live calls, by downloading the PDFs and audios later I have really moved forward. I now know my book will be finished. That's HUGE for me!

Learn How You Can Rejuvenate Your Book Project
The Motivation to Manuscript Book Blueprint Program rejuvenates your book project by keeping you moving forward. Here's what you do:
1. Listen to the CDs. Each lesson has about a 20-minute introduction and then follows up with a Q&A section where aspiring authors like you ask us their toughest questions about their book projects.
2. Fill out the worksheets. These worksheets are designed to get you thinking about your book, your readers, and your marketplace. You can feel free to post your worksheet answers on our private discussion forum for feedback and support. (But if you don't feel comfortable sharing your worksheets, we won't give you demerits either!)
3. Ask questions. If you still have questions, the discussion board is available to you 24x7. We'll let you know when you're on track, offer help on refining a mouthwatering book title and subtitle, and offer marketing ideas and suggestions.
4. Get personal feedback with 1-on-1 advice during your coaching call. You can set up your call at the beginning of the course or later on as you move through the process. People get "stuck" in different places, so feel free to set up a time whenever you feel some in-person advice will keep you motivated and moving forward.
5. Participate on the discussion board. Past participants have received feedback and advice on everything from choosing a title, editing, marketing ideas, narrowing down a niche, to the nitty gritty of chapter review.
6. Use the tools and software. No matter how you write, these supplementary materials can help you with your project.
- A License for our IdeaWeaver Software (a $49.95 Value). IdeaWeaver is our secret to productive writing. This software made it possible for us to finish two books that we thought would be "shelved" forever.
- Susan Daffron's book Publishize: How to Quickly and Affordably Self-Publish a Book That Promotes Your Expertise ($24.95 value). In this book, we divulge everything we do to publish and market our books online. If you are one of those people that get "stuck" with the writing process because you are worrying about the publishing process, this book will set your mind at ease. (It's really not that hard!)
- Microsoft Word Author Template. If IdeaWeaver isn't right for your writing style or project, we've also included a free author template, courtesy of the awesome folks at the Editorium. The zip file has an instruction file that explains how it works. The idea is that it keeps you from focusing on formatting, so you focus on writing instead. (This notion is one of the key principles that led us to create IdeaWeaver as well.) Also if you plan on getting your book professionally laid out, your designer will thank you for NOT formatting your book in Word.
7. WRITE. Most people want to hear that writing a book is effortless, but it doesn't work that way. We've written a lot of books, and yes it's work, but it's worthwhile work. You're sharing your brilliance to with the world. Nothing compares to having a book sitting on your bookshelf that you wrote!
We'll be honest, this program isn't for everyone. For it to help you, you do have to write something. We'll do everything we can to help you meet your writing goals, but if you don't write anything, you won't have a book gracing your bookshelf.
It's hard to get the kind of personalized attention that you and James give in this program. I feel as if it was of great value and affordable for all that you offer. If you work the program, you will end up with a finished book. It's all up to you but it's not only possible, it's probable. I really enjoyed working with both of you. I really felt taken care of and listened to. Thank you!

Okay, so if you aren't familiar with us, my name is Susan Daffron. I own a publishing company called Logical Expressions with my husband James Byrd. It's easy to find out more about us by doing a Google search. But here are a few highlights of my background, so you can judge for yourself.
