Founded by Susan Daffron and James Byrd in 1995, Logical Expressions has a wide range of Web sites online. Our books and Web sites provide helpful how-to information to millions of visitors every year.

The People Behind Logical Expressions

We're James Byrd and Susan Daffron and we started our Logical Expressions in 1995 so we could move away from the city and live a simpler life amidst the forests of rural Northern Idaho. (You can read our "story" here on this Web site or in this article in Redbook Magazine.) Since 1996, we have lived our dream of doing work we enjoy from a place we love.

James has a programming background and Susan has a design background. We often say James is the "logical half" and Susan is the "expressive half" of Logical Expressions.
